  Racegear.com Cup Rules

The Racegear Cup is designed to give you the virtual racer a chance to compete just as if you were a real Nascar Driver, using your Xbox 360 console.

Our Promise to you
An entertaining, fun, competitive and clean racing experience.
To be fair and listen to all driver input no matter what the cause.
To always be available for driver needs, and concerns.
To delivery a lasting experience so good you want to come back for more!

Scoring System

Each Race will have a maximum number of points based on the number of racers present. For example, If 8 people are in a race the winner will receive 80 points, second place 70 and so forth with the final position being 10 points earned

There will be 5 bonus points added for the driver leading the most laps in
a race.

All ties will be broken based upon an average finish of all races participated in, wins, top threes and then top twos. We will go as deep as needed to break all ties to determine a clear winner.

The Season will be broken down into two distinct segments. We will have one 26 race segment and then a 10 race chase segment.  The top 10 racers from the first segment will qualify for the chase segment.

All points are reset to zero at the end of each segment.

Race Procedures and Code of Conduct

Seeing as our league is company sponsored with prizes on the line all potential participants must follow the following rules and regulations set forth by the Racegear.com team and league sponsors. All enforcement of these rules will be done only by Team Racegear staff.

All decisions by the Team Racegear.com staff are final and are non-negotiable and can be modified at anytime without notice.  Please Note: We are aware as are most racers that the game as well as the consoles do glitch from time to time.  We are not responsible for finishes or outcomes based on a glitch, but we will do our best to make the best decision possible when these situations present themselves.

Races will begin at an agreed upon time between racers and your room host.
Race lobbies for your race will be open a minimum of 15 minutes prior to the agreed start time.
If a racer is dropped BEFORE the green flag we will restart the race.
Drivers dropped from the race AFTER the green flag will be treated as a blown engine.
If the server fails a host will make reasonable attempts to restart the race with the nearest of laps remaining.
